Im kuratierten Panel zum Thema "Institutional Aesthetics: Path Dependencies in German Theatre" im Rahmen der IFTR Konferenz "Presenting the Theatrical Past. Interplays of Artefacts, Discourses and Practices" in Stockholm präsentierten Prof. Dr. Christopher Balme, Dr. Bianca Michaels, Dr. Sebastian Stauss und Mara Käser, M.A. Ansätze zur Verflechtung von Institution und Ästhetik mit Bezug zum Konzept der Pfadabhängigkeit. Folgende Themen waren Bestandteil des Panels:

• Institutional Aesthetics: Path Dependencies in German Theatre
• Highly Improbable and Far-Reaching: Path Dependencies and Critical Junctures in the Institutional Development of German Theatre between 1918 and 1949
• Effects of the reunification on the opera houses in East Germany
• Diversification of theatre forms in contemporary theatre using the example of the Munich Kammerspiele
